Neil and his team gave us our dream kitchen taking into consideration our budget constraints.  He really found an affordable cabinet solution that looks high-end and gave us way more storage than what we had before but opened up the area as well.  The majority of work was completed per schedule.  All the contractors used in the project were respectable while working.  None of our existing appliances were damaged.  Overall a great job done by TS Renovations!

I wholeheartedly endorse the professionalism, knowledge, customer service, that you will find at Trendsetter Renovations Ltd. In  eight weeks Neil and Alex at Trendsetter expertly transformed most of the main-floor of our early 1980's two-storey, including the kitchen and a half-bath: They took half of the main-floor back to the studs and built it out again (painting the rest); they worked with specialty sub-trades (electrical, plumbing, stone masons, hardwood flooring crew) and organized the space and the schedule to accommodate them and their equipment; installed cabinetry; built custom cabinetry, did all the drywall and painting.  They were punctual and did what they said they would when they say would do it. I was particularly pleased that they cleaned up each day and at the end of the job and were respectful of our needs while we lived in the house through the experience. We are planning an update to the upstairs and we have already lined them up for that project.

We hired Trendsetter Renovations for the second project in our house - years ago it was the kitchen. After fantastic work then there was no doubt we'd go with Neil again on a long-overdue renovation project of two bathrooms. The outstanding work of Neil and his team starts with perfect and accommodating scheduling. We had visitors in July, and Neil perfectly timed everything to be ready days before they were expected. The work then appears to be almost choreographed.....everything makes the 'dance' of one move after the other go on. Small glitches here and there (mostly outside causes) were dealt with calm, confidence, swiftness and making sure the work is not truly interrupted.  All along the weeks and months you notice the high quality workmanship in details and knowledge of everybody on the team. For me personally the most outstanding part is how Neil communicates with the customer: he never seems frustrated by yet another question on the 'why' or 'how', or whatever, he tries to address each one. And then the communicating of 'what's next' and 'when' and more - perfect!!!  We highly recommend Trendsetter Renovations and thank Neil and the team for fantastic work done.

A major first floor reno is a big undertaking and Neil and crew were up to the task.  Neil has great communication skills and that was an asset because he knew our expectations and we knew the critical path forward. Unlike many contractors, Neil works on the jobsite and can deal expediently with issues when they arise.  Not only did he complete the job on budget and on schedule, he had the work area so immaculate every day before leaving, we were able to live in the house.  It has been two years since our reno, and it looks like the day it was finished.  The quality and pride of workmanship shows from the tiling to the wonderful custom cabinets Neil built based upon a photo we had.   We are thrilled with the results!

The Trendsetter team did a fabulous job renovating our kitchen and master bathroom. It was a major overhaul in a century-old house and Neil managed to complete the job on time, on budget and with very few headaches (for me anyway!). Neil is extremely professional, good at communicating throughout the project and the craftsmanship of his team is impeccable. I was also very impressed with his costumer service: 1.5 year after the renovation, we had a leak in the shower which damaged the kitchen ceiling. I contacted Neil and he came to fix the leak and ceiling at no cost and within a reasonable timeframe. I can't recommend him enough!

You fully achieved each of those goals!  From the first meeting to the end of the project everything was done in a thoroughly professional way.  Your design suggestions were always most helpful.  The quality of the work was top notch throughout.  What amazed me most was that every time a challenging issue arose, such as  when a wall or a ceiling was opened up, you treated it more as a challenge than an obstacle and researched the options until you found a good solution. Trendsetter Renovations did a major renovation for us involving a large kitchen/family room and a three bathrooms in an older downtown St. John's home. From the initial meeting to the end of the project, Neil and his team were positive, punctual and professional in all of their dealings. There were no surprises.  Their pricing was firm and accurate. The timelines for the renovations were set out in advance step by step and were adhered to.  Neil was excellent in managing the sub-trades so that the project did not get held up waiting for contractors to show up from other jobs.The work site was left neat and tidy at the end of each day.  Most importantly the quality of the work was excellent.  

We have only positive things to say about our summer with Trendsetter Renovations. We enjoyed our relationship with their team and look forward to working with Neil and his crew in the future should we undertake additional projects.

I'm very happy with my new kitchen, we were pretty anxious about renovating because everyone we mentioned the word "renovating" to, had some sort of horror story about things that were done or how it was supposed to take a couple of months, but wound up taking six. But I have to say, we had a very good experience. There were a lot of things that we liked and appreciated about the job you did.

We especially liked the fact that you gave us a schedule. And because you kept to the schedule we knew what to expect and when. If someone was scheduled to be at the house, you could count on them being there and on time. Everyone was very professional. The house was cleaned up really well at the end of the day. The hardwood floor being covered with heavy paper to protect it was excellent, and you were very good about working around us and the stuff we couldn't move.

Of course there were unexpected things..but when problems were found you gave us very reasonable solutions to them. Your experience and expertise was really appreciated You were reachable when we needed to get in touch with you, and the color advise you gave me worked out wonderfully.

All in all, the renovation was pretty painless and we are extremely happy with it. I would highly recommend you to anyone having renovations done.
